Catering for your stay
No Reception
At the moment there is no reception. After booking online & prior to your stay, an information email will be sent out to you with instructions on what to do on arrival and some local information on whats on and around Bettyhill.
PLEASE NOTE: Hard Standings are for pre booked electric hookup guests.
If you are arriving late, please be mindful of other guests and keep noise to a minimum. Dogs must be kept on a lead and not left unattended in your accommodation. No pets to be taken into the amenity block, there is an external cold water shower at the rear that can be used to rinse your pet off if required.
CCTV is in operation. The facilities are for the use of customers who have booked a pitch.
WiFi is limited to the outside of the amenity block at the moment.
Toilets and Showers
An amenity block is open for overnight tourers to use, this has seven individual unisex private shower rooms, toilets and sinks, one of which is suitable for disabled persons.
An external cold water shower is located at the rear so that beach users / surfers can rinse off or maybe you want to shower your dog before allowing them into your tent / van.
No wetsuits are to be taken into the amenity block. CCTV is in operation.
Kitchen Facilities
Within the amenity block there is a separate small kitchen area with a sink, draining board, kettle, microwave, microwave with grill, toaster, and a phone charging cabinet. CCTV is in operation within the hallway and kitchen areas.
Water and Waste
Fresh drinking water is available for all overnight tourers to use.
There is a chemical waste point in place for camper van, motorhome and caravan owners to empty their toilet cassettes. Two grey waste areas. These are available for all customers staying overnight.
8 kg Coin Operated Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer available for use. We have change available if needed.
£5 per wash and £3 for 15 minutes of drying time.

General Store
The General Store (with post office counter) is in the heart of the village and sells literally everything from drawing pins to Altbea Haggis, daily staples such as milk, bread, hot sausage rolls, pies, tea, coffee, and on Thurs, Fri and Sat they sell homemade authentic curries to takeaway and reheat.
