Where to Eat
Been travelling all day, not enough food in the van or just fancy a treat whilst touring?
Bettyhill has a few places where you can sit in for a meal or takeaway food to have back on the campsite.

The Store Bistro Bar - storecafe.co.uk
This used to be the general store in the village before it was converted in to a very popular cafe and now a Bistro Bar where you can get home made cakes, soup, sandwiches, burgers, fish n chips and much more. It is dog friendly with ample seats outside as well as in. Why not settle in with a nice glass of wine or a peaty dram from a good selection of malts while you are waiting on your food and join in the craic.
Open 365 days a year Sun - Thurs 9am - 9pm / Fri and Sat 9am - 11pm (please note The Store is licenced until 1am 7 days a week but will close earlier if quiet, so to avoid disappointment arrive before the closing times as previously listed)

The Bettyhill Hotel - bettyhillhotel.com
A beautiful hotel built in 1819, originally as a Coaching Inn but is now a superb family run hotel.
There is a lovely restaurant overlooking Torrisdale Bay and the River Naver where you can book a table for a meal any evening from 6pm to 8.30pm. Food can also be eaten in the bar which is dog friendly. They also offer a take away menu. Their full menu can be found on the link above.

The Farr Bay Inn - farrbayinn.co.uk
Another lovely hotel to the east of Bettyhill, the affectionately known FBI can be accessed as an alternative route from the main road from the campsite by strolling along Farr Beach and once at the end of the beach, follow a well trodden path over the sand dunes and you will get to the rear of the FBI where a nice chilled pint is waiting for you. Clachan Cafe - clachancafe
A small and very friendly sit in or takeaway cafe on the A836 next to the Strathnaver Museum. Ample parking and a outside eating area. It is currently open Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm for breakfast, lunch, snacks and a wonderful selection of ice creams.
